The final transnational meeting of the project “AI tools for teaching and learning in VET” was organized on June, 1 in Technical school Ruđer Bošković in Zagreb, Croatia. Final details for the implementation of the project and the preparation of the report have been agreed.
Multiplier event held on May 27, 2026, in Zagreb, Croatia
The Multiplier Event was organized at the Technical School Ruđer Bošković in Zagreb, Croatia, and was attended by teachers from vocational schools. The project partners shared their experiences gained during the project and discussed the benefits and outcomes of the project.
Multiplier event held on May 13, 2026, in Skopje, N. Macedonia
On May 13th, 2026, a promotional event was held in Skopje, the Republic of North Macedonia. The promotion was a part of workshops with students from high schools and VET schools (from North Macedonia) that are regularly organized at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje.
Pilot Implementation
The pilot implementation consisted of 10 AI-infused lessons at Technicals chool Ruđer Bošković in Zagreb, Croatia. The 10-lesson pilot implementation demonstrates exceptionally strong evidence for the effectiveness of AI-enhanced instruction in VET education. Across all 10 lessons with 228 total student participants, AI-enhanced learning consistently outperformed traditional instruction.
Testing and promoting the guide “Tips on How to Use AI for Learning and Fun”
The guide ‘Tips on How to Use AI for Learning and Fun’ has been tested and promoted at the Technical School Ruđer Bošković, with 2 teachers and 69 students participating, at the Mechanical Engineering Technical School Faust Vrančić, with 2 teachers and 37 students participating, at the School of Electrical Engineering Zagreb with 2 teachers and 40 students participating, at the Vocational School Đurđevac, with 1 teacher and 35 students participating, as well as at the Georgi Dimitrov High School Skopje and Medical High School “Dr. Jovan Kalauzi” Bitola with 72 students taking part.
Training for VET teachers: Integrating AI tools into teaching practices
From September 24 to 26, Georgi Dimitrov High School (Skopje), hosted the VET teachers from Croatia and North Macedonia at LTTA: Integrating AI tools into teaching practices. The content of the training program had been structured around the following key components: introduction to AI, AI tools for teaching and development of AI-infused lessons.
Successful kick-off meeting held in Zagreb, Croatia

On February 24, the AIVET project team met in Croatia on Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology (Zagreb), and held the kick-off meeting. Productive meeting was held and set guidelines for further project activities in the coming months.
